The Brand: At Premier, we provide the canvas upon which global brands build their identity. We lead the industry with a spectrum of over 60 vibrant colours, merging high-end design with the rigorous demands of the modern workplace. From Michelin-star kitchens to luxury boutiques, our garments are the "First Impression" for thousands of businesses worldwide. Our 2026 range is already pushing the boundaries of "Easy Care" fabrics and architectural cuts. Now, we are looking for a meticulous and creative Product Development Assistant to help us engineer the next generation of professional apparel.
The Opportunity: From Concept to Global Scale Working directly alongside our experienced Product Developer, you will be at the heart of our garment lifecycle. This is a role for someone who appreciates the technical "Form and Function" of a garment—understanding that a pocket’s placement is as critical as the fabric’s hand-feel.
Your Mission
- Garment Evolution: Assist in the end-to-end development of new styles, ensuring every piece meets our strict standards for durability, modernity, and "Easy Care" performance.
- Global Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for our Far East manufacturing partners. You will help manage the flow of technical specifications, samples, and feedback to ensure our vision is translated perfectly into the final product.
- Quality Curation: Review and analyse fit samples, fabric strike-offs, and colour lab dips to maintain our reputation as the industry’s "Colour Authority".
- Trend & Technical Insight: Stay ahead of sector-specific needs—whether it’s the four-way stretch required for the spa industry or the heat-management needs of a busy kitchen.
The Professional Edge: Who You Are You are a design-led professional with a passion for garment construction and a "customer-first" mindset. You understand that a uniform is a tool that boosts staff confidence and customer trust.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, from stitching quality to colour consistency across different fabric weights.
- Communicator: You are comfortable working with international suppliers, navigating time zones and technical requirements with professional poise.
- Collaborative: You enjoy the mentorship of an experienced developer and are eager to learn the nuances of global supply chain management.
Background: Ideally, you have a degree in Fashion/Textile Technology or equivalent industry experience. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and a solid understanding of garment tech-packs are essential. A recent Graduate will be considered.
