Liberty Church is a vibrant, presence-centred, multi-cultural church in fellowship with Assemblies of God GB and covering five locations in Rotherham. The DNA of Liberty Church can be summarized in 4 words that are the hallmark of all we are and do: Relational, Missional, Devotional and Developmental.
Liberty Church exists to see the Borough of Rotherham and the County of South Yorkshire transformed by the power and presence of God. We currently have 2 Sunday services in the centre of Rotherham and 4 additional locations around the borough, in Swinton, Thurcroft, Parkgate and Manvers. We have a vision to plant churches in every postcode area in Rotherham before our 100th anniversary in 2028.
In light of the growth of the church we seek to employ a Part-time Pastor to work alongside the existing leadership and ministry team in Thurcroft. The role will require a unique and diverse skill set and a strong sense of the call of God, and to the work of Liberty Church.
Liberty Church Thurcroft was planted in 2019 and has a membership of around 50 people, with a multi-cultural and multigenerational congregation. The church runs regular Street evangelism and Community outreaches, alongside Alpha courses, Bible studies, prayer meetings and Sunday services.
The main tasks of the role will be identified as leading, bringing vision and direction to the work of Liberty Church, Thurcroft. Engaging and supporting the ongoing ministry of Liberty Church in Thurcroft. Working in team leadership with the Thurcroft Leadership team.
Liberty Church Thurcroft is part of the wider Liberty Church Family, and the work in Thurcroft is overseen by our Senior Pastor Adrian Dexter and other delegated leaders of Liberty Church Rotherham.
