Your Chance to Make a Difference
We’re seeking a passionate Youthwork Lead to bridge two incredible communities: Urban Promise UK and St Chad’s Church. You’ll be at the heart of our Student Leader programme, mentoring teens, championing their academic growth, and empowering them as they contribute to our after-school club and kitchen.
If you can think on your feet, juggle multiple tasks with a smile, and inspire young minds in a fast-paced environment, this is for you! You’ll also have a key role working alongside our After School Club Lead, integrating with our after school and holiday clubs to ensure a holistic approach across our programmes.
You will be a driving force during our Easter and Summer Holiday Clubs, leading planning sessions, delivering dynamic training, and orchestrating exciting trips that create unforgettable memories for teens.
Crucially, your role extends to the wider youth community. As the Youthwork Lead for St Chad’s Church, you’ll lead engaging Bible studies and shared meals on Monday evenings, and inspire the young people during Sunday morning services. You’ll be instrumental in fostering one cohesive, vibrant youth community, where all young people feel connected and empowered.
This unique dual role requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly adapt between a charity and church setting, always striving to strengthen the bonds and serve the young people who often belong to both. Are you ready to shape lives and build a unified, thriving youth community in Chadwell Heath?
