At Urban Promise UK, our mission is to empower young people to break down barriers, seize opportunities, and become the visionary leaders who transform their community. Through our Student Leader Programme (for teens) and After School Club (for primary school age kids), we equip young people with the spiritual, academic, and personal tools to thrive. This isn’t just about after-school care; it’s about building a brighter future, one young life at a time, inspired by our faith in Christ.
Over the past 3 years we have built a thriving community in Marks Gate, Dagenham. Now we are thrilled to have been invited to set up a new site and programmes in St Chad’s Church, Chadwell Heath. This new After School Club Lead role is the first step in building these programmes and community at this new site, with support from our established site in Marks Gate, where you will begin training.
As the After-School Club Lead, you will be the driving force behind our primary-age provision. You aren’t just managing a space; you are cultivating an environment where children feel safe, inspired, and empowered. You will lead a team of staff, volunteers, and Student Leaders (teens) to deliver high-quality academic support, spiritual exploration, and creative play, ensuring that every child understands their potential as a future leader.
Interview dates TBC. We reserve the right to engage exceptional candidates for interview before the closing date.
