My client is seeking an Operations and Fundraising professional to join their charity organization. You will be responsible for the operational and governance framework as well as the fundraising strategies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop comprehensive operational strategies, systems, and infrastructure aligned with the organization’s vision, mission, and long-term goals.
- Developing and executing fundraising strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors.
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective donors.
- Planning and coordinating fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to generate revenue and increase donor engagement.
- Exploring and securing appropriate grants.
- Managing the organization’s budget in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and fundraising goals.
- Monitoring financial performance and fundraising metrics, providing regular reports.
- Managing day-to-day operational functions, including administration, HR, program management, and compliance.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to optimize organizational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing internal safeguarding policies and best practices as the organization grows.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders such as donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Representing the organization at meetings, events, and conferences to promote awareness and support.
- Recruiting, leading, and mentoring staff and volunteers.
