Milford on Sea Benefice
Role: Children’s/ Families/ Youth (dependent on skills and experience)
Salary range: £26,000-£30,000
Holiday: 25 days, plus bank holidays
Working Hours: minimum 20 hours up to 40 hrs per week (flexible but inclusive of Tuesday and Sunday mornings)
Role Overview
We’re looking for someone to join our Children’s and Youth team, to help coordinate this growing ministry in our parish and school, working alongside our Families, School and Youth Minister. Our younger generation ministry stretches from 0-18 years, so we are flexible in terms of the focus and either full or part‑time hours. We want to shape the role around the skills and experience of the person God is calling to join us, though there is a focus on the 0‑7 years age range. This is an exciting opportunity to build on an established and growing ministry.
We are looking for someone who:

- has experience of nurturing teams and leading volunteers
- is a good communicator and able to share the gospel in an engaging way to different ages and contexts

Areas of Responsibility
- Overseeing our children’s and parents’ groups
- Supporting our Families, Schools and Youth Minister as appropriate
- Supporting our well‑established links with our Primary School
- Overseeing the administration, safeguarding and health and safety processes required in the role.
