Now a leading national provider of care and support services, the organisation has grown significantly while remaining firmly committed to its founding principles of inclusion, respect, and person-centred support.

As part of their continued development, Real Life Options is seeking passionate, values-driven individuals to join their Board of Trustees. This is a non-executive leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a meaningful part in shaping the organisation’s strategic direction, ensuring strong governance, and supporting its long-term sustainability.

The charity is particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience or expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Social care or health
  • Finance, legal, or governance
  • PR, communications, or stakeholder engagement

Time commitment:

  • Four board meetings per year (two held in Scotland and two in England)
  • Additional time for meeting preparation and optional sub-committee involvement
  • This is a voluntary position, with reasonable expenses reimbursed

This is a rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about inclusion and want to use their skills and experience to make a genuine, positive impact on people’s lives.

If this sounds of interest, I’d love to hear from you. Please apply and I’ll be happy to share further details and discuss the role in more depth.
