Yeovil Baptist Church is a town centre church with a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational congregation, which has recently seen an influx of children and young people. We are keen to support this growth and foster spiritual development in this vital area of church life. Therefore, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work alongside volunteers to expand this important ministry.
On Sundays, we currently have approximately 15 primary-aged children and regularly engage with about 18 secondary school-aged young people.
There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post holder is a Christian, as permitted under the Equality Act 2010.
Hours: 15 hours per week, including Sundays and some evenings.
Salary: £13.00 - £15.59 per hour, dependent on experience.
Contract: Fixed-term initially for 12 months, with potential extension subject to review.
