Job Title: Automotive Mechanic. Department: Mechanical. Reports to: Workshop Controller.
Are you an experienced Automotive Mechanic with a passion for problem-solving? Our client is seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to take a leading role within their in-house mechanical team at their Enfield-based car supermarket, which stocks over 250 used vehicles.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business where quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.
Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, and repair a range of vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.
- Conduct road tests when necessary to verify and diagnose proper operation.
- Mentor and support apprentice technicians, fostering skill development within the team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Ensure all work complies with company health and safety standards.
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
- A full and valid UK Driving Licence.
- Your own set of tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Desirable:
- MOT Tester qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Annual Leave: 28 days (inclusive of public holidays)

- Monday to Friday: Shift patterns 06:30 – 14:30 or 15:00 – 23:30
