Overview Our premium brand automotive client is seeking a highly skilled Mechatronics Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge robotics, automation, and tooling technologies within the automotive sector.
Responsibilities As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will
Design, analyze, modify, and integrate robotics, automation technologies, and processes related to equipment and tooling.
Develop, implement, and test preventative maintenance plans, as well as interim solutions for damaged or unsafe equipment and tooling.
Investigate and document engineering changes while controlling equipment and tooling configurations in line with standard operating procedures.
Recommend and implement equipment reliability improvements using reliability engineering principles.
Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight, while coaching and delegating work to junior professionals.
Address and resolve complex and challenging technical problems.
Qualifications
Essential
Degree in Engineering or other STEM subjects.
Practical experience in building verification and validation rigs for formal approval/sign-off.
Proficiency in Sys ML and MATLAB/Simulink for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
