Supplier Quality Management Engineer

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Supplier Quality Management Engineer – £34/hr (Inside IR35) – Midlands/Hybrid – 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal) Position Description: Supplier Quality Management Engineering focuses on planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements. Responsibilities: – Verifying and validating that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements – Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities – Ensuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity – Reviewing and analysing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues. Skills/Experience required: – Ideally degree educated or significant relevant automotive engineering experience – Must have prior experience within an Automotive Supplier Quality role – Must be able to travel to client and supplier locations, mainly in the Midlands area. Additional Information: – Position will be Warwickshire or Coventry based with hybrid potential – More than 50% of the time working in supplier sites, some home working can be included but primarily it will be either supplier visit or client site….
