Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Lead UI Designer - £54/hr (Inside IR35) Warwickshire/Hybrid potential 8 Months (potential for yearly renewal) Job Description: The Lead UI Designer is responsible for translating the brand principles into the creative vision for how digital turns up across the visual interfaces of the vehicle. Working closely with UX design as part of a design pair, the UI designer shapes how our digital experiences look, feel and behave, and how this is eventually realised into production HMI and UI systems. Key accountabilities - Take creative direction and interpret brand principles and apply the vision across digital interfaces. - Develop and maintain design systems, guides and components - Work closely with UX designers, UX Design Technologists and SW developers to ensure the vision can be delivered. - Ensure cross design discipline alignment and the integration of BI system design within the digital experience. - Produce high-fidelity mock ups and prototypes and iterate based feedback - Liaise and co-ordinate with creative operations, programme management and business operations teams to ensure content delivery timing can be supported. - Stakeholder management across interdependent design functions. Critical capabilities - Excellent creative acumen gained in agency and corporate settings - Demonstrable experience of crafting visually engaging interfaces - Deep understanding of visual identity principles of typography, layout and colour. - Automotive design experience is preferable. - Creative sensitivity understand complex multi-disciplinary design projects - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to all levels within the business - Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones. - Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment. - Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite etc. Additional information: This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
