Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Functional Safety Engineer - £34/hr (Inside IR35) - Coventry - 6 Months (potential to extend).
Duties: This function is responsible for the functional safety verification of automotive management controls software. A Specialist Professional is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand and co-ordinate activities between all stakeholders in order to deliver safety-related verification activities
- Ensure common approach and common technical solutions where possible across all projects
- Ensure that ISO26262 [Part 6]/[Parts 4&5] are satisfied.
Experience:
- Prior experience of functional safety verification within a software/controls role
- Functional Safety (ISO26262) experience at Software level
- Specific knowledge of ISO26262 [Part 6]/[Parts 4&5] required
Education: Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
Additional Information: This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
