Our premium brand Automotive Tier 1 is currently recruiting for the following role: Discrete Event Simulation Lead Engineer - 35-40 /hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (hybrid potential) - 6 Months (potential for renewal).

The Opportunity:

The role is the principal virtual discrete event simulation engineer for Manufacturing Engineering and will be responsible for leading vehicle or system programmes Discrete Event Simulation function, modelling the process flow from concept through to the delivery phase to JOB1 + 90 days.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • DES model achieves JPH target as per system scope requirements
  • Deliver optimum DES system cycle time, decoupling buffer and technical/operational availability to achieve System OPR requirements
  • Deliver DES model and documentation to programme timing milestones
  • OPR maps / Bottleneck analysis
