Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:\\n\\nCAD Author – Catia V5 – £27.21/hr (Inside IR35) – Warwickshire (hybrid potential) – 8 Months (potential for yearly renewal)\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\nOur automotive client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Author to join the Virtual Build & Test team within Engineering Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality CAD modifications that support digital validation and virtual build activities across the product lifecycle. You will work within the Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE platform to ensure CAD data meets engineering and CAE requirements.\\nYour CAD expertise will directly influence the development of the next generation of vehicles and help to ensure virtual validation is robust, efficient, and future-ready.\\n\\nKey Performance Indicators\\n- Deliver expected number of parts modifications within agreed timescales.\\n- Deliver part modifications to the required quality standard\\n\\nKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities\\n- Deliver required CAD modifications in line with engineering requirements and direction.\\n- Collaborate with Engineers and Stakeholders to ensure CAD modifications meet CAE requirements.\\n- Lead or support CAE Alignment Reviews to communicate and validate CAD modifications.\\n- Provide modified, compatible CAD to support virtual series and digital validation activities.\\n- Ensure CAD modifications are made in line with appropriate CAD standards and agreed working practices.\\n- Gather customer feedback on the quality and effectiveness of CAD modifications.\\n\\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\\nEssential:\\n- Experience working with CAD & PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter & CATIA V5).\\n- Strong understanding of automotive product development processes.\\n- Understanding of CAD standards and modelling best practises.\\n- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\\n- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.\\nDesirable:\\n- Proficiency in Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA V6).\\n- Experience in virtual series or digital engineering environments.\\n- Knowledge of client systems and standards.\\n\\nAdditional information:\\nThis role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.\\n\\nThe services advertised by Premea Limited for this vacancy are those of an Employment Business.\\nPremea is a specialist IT & Engineering recruitment consultancy representing clients in the UK and internationally within the Automotive, Motorsport and Aerospace sectors
