Job Description

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:\\n\\nAero-Acoustics Engineer – £34/hr (Inside IR35) – Warwickshire/Coventry – 8 months (potential for yealry renewal) \\n\\nDuties:\\nResponsible for monitoring and minimising the variability of wind noise performance on current production vehicle lines.\\n\\n- Be an in-plant representative for the wind noise attribute, acting as a voice of the customer in the manufacturing environment. \\n- Detect where attribute performance could vary away from target (via objective measurement, subjective drive, static assessment/measurement, over checking build conformance to assembly process, etc.), \\n- Perform initial root cause investigation and drive issues through to resolution with the relevant responsible areas. \\n- Liaise closely with core aeroacoustics team to understand future products entering plant launch and their critical attribute characteristics as well as ongoing quality actions on current products.\\n- Flexibility to work across various sites (Warwickshire / Coventry / Solihull / Liverpool) as required.

\\n\\nSkills Required:\\n- Experience of working in an automotive production plant quality role \\n- Experience applying engineering problem solving methodologies (six sigma / 8D / Root Cause Analysis) to complex issues\\n- Full driving licence and ability to subjectively assess driven attributes\\n- Experience of plant attributes (Squeak and Rattle / Wind Noise / Water Test) / NVH development and measurement / vehicle testing and assessment / automotive component development \\n\\nAdditional information:\\nThis role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.\\nFlexibility to work across various sites (Warwickshire / Coventry / Solihull / Liverpool) as required. \\n\\nThe services advertised by Premea Limited for this vacancy are those of an Employment Business.\\nPremea is a specialist IT & Engineering recruitment consultancy representing clients in the UK and internationally within the Automotive, Motorsport and Aerospace sectors
