Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:
Position Description:
Highly skilled individual required for seat development, with patterning, sewing and component trimming capabilities. The role involves working with technical Specialists to deliver feasibility studies through physical seats.
Skills Required:
- Automotive patterning - seats
- High level of machine sewing
- Automotive seating production experience
Experience Required:
- Experience of full trimming full seats from patterning to finishing and flitting.
- Experience of production and manufacture processes for seats
- Engineering capability for seat functionality (airbags, climate)
- Previous experience of working with leather, PVCs and textiles.
- Experience of all sewing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret rendered designs, 3D CAD, drawings and colour call outs.
- Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
- Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management
Experience Preferred:
- Microsoft office 365 experience
- Experience of production and manufacture processes for accessories
- Knowledge of mass production process and procedures, In depth knowledge of textile
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
