Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Position Description:

Highly skilled individual required for seat development, with patterning, sewing and component trimming capabilities. The role involves working with technical Specialists to deliver feasibility studies through physical seats.

Skills Required:

  • Automotive patterning - seats
  • High level of machine sewing
  • Automotive seating production experience

Experience Required:

  • Experience of full trimming full seats from patterning to finishing and flitting.
  • Experience of production and manufacture processes for seats
  • Engineering capability for seat functionality (airbags, climate)
  • Previous experience of working with leather, PVCs and textiles.
  • Experience of all sewing techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret rendered designs, 3D CAD, drawings and colour call outs.
  • Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.
  • Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management

Experience Preferred:

  • Microsoft office 365 experience
  • Experience of production and manufacture processes for accessories
  • Knowledge of mass production process and procedures, In depth knowledge of textile

This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
