Hey!

Imagine amateur football finally had the platform it deserves.

Every weekend, millions of people write their own personal football stories – on pitches, in clubs and on the sidelines. We believe this passion deserves a digital home too.

That's Exactly What We're Building Every Single Day.

  • Main information
  • Start: Immediately
  • Standort: Cologne or London
  • Workload: Full-time
  • Area of responsibility: Marketing & Brand

Is this a match?

The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.

  • Location: You can see yourself in our offices in Cologne or London – and are able to come in at least 2–3 days a week
  • Experience: You have a creative background of 1–5 years and feel confident in the role.
  • Languages: You speak English fluently – German is a big plus.
  • You know football: Amateur football isn't new to you – you've played yourself, are a club member or a fan with a real feel for what happens on and off the pitch.
  • Startup spirit: You’d rather shape things than just tick boxes – even when that means figuring stuff out without a finished roadmap.
  • Your playing field

Here’s why this role matters for our mission.

  • You’ll be responsible for the visual implementation of our brand on social media - from design and editing right through to final publication.
  • You put ideas into practice yourself. Quickly, creatively and with a keen understanding of amateur football, community dynamics and modern social trends.
  • How you'll make a difference

This is how you move our mission forward every day.

  • Daily Business
  • You design, edit and produce social-first content (Reels, Tik Toks, visuals) on a daily basis - from the initial idea through to the final cut and publication.
  • Brand Development
  • Strengthen and evolve our brand identity across visuals, tone of voice, and storytelling
  • Create a repeatable brand system (guidelines, templates, creative principles) that scales across channels and markets
  • Build recognisable content “IP” (recurring formats/series) that audiences come back for
  • Social (Organic + Paid)
  • Own the content roadmap and publishing rhythm across key social channels
  • Produce and/or direct social-first assets (video, static, short-form series) with strong packaging (hooks, captions, edits)
  • Partner with growth/paid teams to develop high-performing creatives and iterate through testing cycles
  • Turn performance insights into creative decisions (what to double down on, what to stop, what to test next)
  • Collaborations & Community
  • Develop collaboration concepts with creators, communities, and local partners
  • Build lightweight partner toolkits (assets, briefs, formats) that make it easy for others to co-create and share
  • Identify scalable “distribution levers” that expand reach without diluting brand

What you bring to the table

We're not looking for a perfect CV. But you should recognise yourself in these points.

  • Brand Building: You’ve demonstrated the ability to build brands through content, not just campaigns.
  • Visual Taste: You have excellent visual taste and strong execution skills (design, editing; motion basics are helpful).
  • Motion Basics: Motion design / animation fundamentals (template-based, fast and scalable)
  • Creative Strategy: You bring strong skills in positioning, format development, channel thinking and distribution.
  • Data Literacy: You feel comfortable working with data and understand core social and paid creative performance metrics.
  • Hands-on Mentality: You move fast, are execution-focused and can ship work while raising the creative bar.
  • Copywriting: You write strong hooks, captions and series framing.
  • Editing: You craft short-form storytelling with a clear narrative flow.
  • Production: You handle creator briefing and direction for efficient content production.
  • Design: You develop social-first design and packaging (format setup, thumbnails/title cards, recognizability).
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Cap Cut, Notion, Meta & Tik Tok Ads Manager, You Tube Studio (Shorts publishing & analytics)Good to know
  • Good to know

We want you to know what this role really looks like from day one.

  • We are looking for more than a traditional social media manager, but rather a social brand designer who can bring our brand to life visually.
  • Your focus: design, content & execution. You don’t just come up with ideas but put them into practice yourself
  • Bonus

Not a must – but this'll definitely earn you extra points.

  • Brand Building: Brand-building experience in a D2C or agency environment with clear, measurable outcomes
  • Paid Creative: Paid social creative experience (performance creatives, ad variants, hook testing)
  • Activation: On-ground activation experience (events/matchdays, local partner activations, on-site content)
