The Leopold Hotel is a unique four-star Sheffield hotel. Centrally located on Leopold Square amongst an array of upmarket bars and eateries, our historic property offers a quirky yet luxurious place to meet and sleep. Each of the hotel’s 89 en-suite bedrooms is uniquely furnished, offering every modern amenity for the discerning visitor.

The Role

The Night Duty Manager will ensure that the hotel operates smoothly and safely during the night shift and promote a positive image of the hotel to all guests and colleagues by maintaining high standards at all times. You will welcome late arrivals and deal with customer requests and queries and take responsibility for security and health & safety of all guest and colleagues.

The role offers a 40 hour contract over 4 days with 10.30pm-9.00am shifts.

Whats involved in the role:

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience in a hotel/serviced apartment environment. They will be reliable, organised, have excellent customer care, be a good team player and have a natural flair and enthusiasm for dealing with and communicating with people.

Some duties will include;

Warmly welcoming our guests.

Guest service including bar and food service during the night.

General security and health and safety responsibilities.

A person who may be suited to this role will have:

Previous Hotel reception experience using computerised reservation system desirable.

Knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures.

Bar and / or food service experience advantageous.
