What You’ll Do

As a Senior Manager, PR and Influencer, you will lead the strategy and execution of earned media and influencer initiatives in UKI. You will be responsible for building brand love, credibility, and advocacy by driving innovative storytelling, cultivating high-impact relationships, and delivering breakthrough campaigns that amplify Sol de Janeiro’s unique tone of voice and values.

The role will be based in our London office and report to the Marketing Director, UKI.

What You’ll Be Working On

Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of PR and influencer strategies across UKI in alignment with local brand priorities.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure effective and consistent communications and campaign rollouts.
  • Stay ahead of social, cultural, and platform trends to inform regional tactics and storytelling approaches.

Media & Influencer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media, content creators, and tastemakers across beauty, lifestyle, and wellness.
  • Oversee all influencer activities from identification and briefing to content approvals, negotiations, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate segmentation of influencer and press lists for targeted seeding and outreach.

Campaigns, Events & Content

  • Drive high-impact campaigns including product launches, influencer activations, and earned media strategies.
  • Coordinate regional event planning and ensure flawless execution in line with brand image.
  • Align with Marketing to integrate PR and influencer content into broader campaigns.
  • Align with retailer social teams to brief and integrate content into retailer campaigns

Budget & Performance

  • Manage UKI PR and influencer budgets, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and performance tracking.
  • Define and report on KPIs such as earned media value (EMV), engagement, reach, sentiment, and ROI.
  • Analyse campaign performance and contribute actionable insights to enhance results.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Support and mentor junior team members or market collaborators.
  • Serve as a key regional point of contact for internal cross-functional teams and global brand counterparts.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, calendar alignment, and knowledge sharing across the broader marketing team.

Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Partner with global communications and agency teams on any issues requiring brand protection or crisis response.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • + 5 years of experience in PR and influencer marketing within beauty, lifestyle, or consumer goods (in-house or agency).
  • Track record of building impactful media and influencer programs across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, influencer trends, and performance measurement tools (e.g., Tribe Dynamics, Creator IQ, Meltwater).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in storytelling and brand positioning.
  • Proactive, strategic, and highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
