Job Description
Safety in the Sky, Delivered by you, is a dynamic, hands‑on role where you will be an essential partner to Assembly and Inspection teams, driving technical excellence and resolving quality issues at the source.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Assembly Quality Clinic and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) decisions
- Evaluate and sentence non‑conformities, offering expert input to Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and external suppliers
- Support root cause investigations and contribute to continual improvement initiatives across product life cycles
- Provide technical coaching to assembly and inspection teams to build quality into the process
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, lean methods, and quality control
- Experience with First Article Inspection, PPAP, and APQP processes
- Confident using problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa, RCCA)
- Ability to influence, coach, and work across cross‑functional teams
