The Vice President, Hotel Revenue Optimization supports the Senior Vice President, Revenue Optimization & Distribution on strategic initiatives to ensure all member hotels globally optimize their revenue and distribution requirements. He/she ensures all member hotels in the European region maximize their full revenue potential through the Preferred Hotel Group (PHG) distribution platform. The Vice President creates and maintains global standards and requirements, implementing them for the Hotel Revenue Optimization (HRO) function in Europe.

Organizational Relationship: Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Revenue Optimization & Distribution, the Vice President works closely with the Chief Revenue Officer, EVP Europe, Vice Presidents in other regions, and other department heads. They provide functional oversight to the HRO team in Europe.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring awareness of system enhancements among internal and external clients, providing insights and opportunities for system improvements.
  • Maintaining and developing the PTG Certification program for Revenue Management, supporting new HROs in Europe through training and certification milestones.
  • Facilitating escalation of delinquent travel agent commission payments, contributing to Financial Technology development, managing third-party distribution relationships, and supporting other projects.
  • Providing regional support including training, coaching, and communication; organizing revenue meetings; analyzing company production data; supporting hotel reviews and participation levels.
  • Assisting with PTG projects aligned with corporate goals, participating in strategic meetings, and supporting new hotel acquisitions and key accounts.
  • Establishing high-level revenue management consultancy services for member hotels, coordinating offerings with Preferred Hospitality Services.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Revenue Management and Distribution.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and commercially astute.
  • Knowledge and practice in the travel industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in teamwork.

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of management experience, including team management.
  • At least 4 years in the travel industry in senior revenue management/distribution roles with P&L responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and profitability improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Approximately 25% travel expected.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with multiple reservation and revenue management systems.

Working Conditions: This role is based in PTG offices at 5th Floor, The Prow, London. All necessary technology will be provided.

Required Training:

  • Orientation in London.
  • Completion of PHG Revenue Management Certification.
  • Training in internal tools such as Outlook, CRM, Reporting systems.
