Preferred Refrigeration LTD is looking to recruit a Trainee Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career within the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, with excellent overtime potential.
The Role
- Assisting experienced engineers with installation and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Supporting with electrical work related to HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Working within commercial premises across the South East and London
- 50-hour working week, including 2 hours of travel time per day
- Attending training courses as required
Working Hours & Overtime
- Contracted 50-hour working week
- Overtime paid after contracted hours
- Night work and weekend work paid at overtime rates
- Excellent opportunity for overtime, with frequent availability
About You
- Experience preferred but not essential
- Keen to learn and develop technical and electrical skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred (or working towards one)
- CSCS required before starting in role
