We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and service-driven professional to serve as Account Manager, responsible for the proactive execution and coordination of group sales support processes. Operating under the direction of the Vice President, Group Sales – Europe, the Account Manager ensures the efficient, accurate, and high-quality delivery of services to clients and member hotels, supporting the successful execution of regional and international group sales initiatives.

Under the general supervision of the Vice President, Group Sales – Europe and the Senior Account Manager, Group Sales – Europe, this role works collaboratively with designated members of the Group Sales team, member hotel sales managers, and clients to support regional and international group sales activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive sales support to multi-segment Sales Directors across international markets, including Italy, India, Germany, Dubai, and South Africa.
  • Maintain accurate sales tracking, sales account management and database records through effective use of all PTG sales tools and systems including CRM.
  • Assist in monitoring the Group Desk Inbox and provide minimal support to Group Sales Directors in Europe as needed.
  • Ensure detailed and professional response to all client/member hotel group sales requests.
  • Distribute group leads to member hotels and manage group lead profiles in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Timely and thorough communications with clients, sales directors, and hotel members regarding program information on a daily basis.
  • Provide effective organization and communications for hotel members and clients in conjunction with sales managers for all regional sales events and all sales activities.
  • Assist with collateral distribution as required.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of hotel members, Preferred Travel Group and clients.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including participation in client event marketing, logistics, and on-site support as requested by Sales Directors and/or the Director, Group Sales – Account Management & Training.
  • Responsible for collecting the post-convention production and pick-up from member hotels.
  • Assist clients/Group Sales Directors with visiting hotel representatives, i.e. set up appointments and sales calls.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in preparing activities report, production report and other applicable reports as needed by Group Sales Directors.
  • Provide Sales Director with complete telephone and email support as requested.
  • Report for duty punctually, wearing appropriate attire, reflecting a professional and polished image.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming at all times, projecting a positive and motivated attitude.
Required Experience/Qualifications
  • Qualifications are typically acquired through completion of a university or college degree and/or relevant experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong discipline and structure.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Previous sales administration experience within luxury hotels is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
  • Additional language proficiency is considered a strong asset.

Working Conditions

This role will be based in our Preferred Travel Group office in London or Munich. With our in-office philosophy, our associates are expected to be in the office at least three days per week, supporting a healthy balance between in-person collaboration and flexible remote work.
