Multi-Trader – Painting, Decorating, Carpentry (Other Trades Advantageous) £50,000–£55,000 per year | Full-Time, Permanent | London & Home Counties

Griggs Property Care are seeking an experienced and versatile Multi-Trader to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure stable, long-term employment with a reputable and expanding company, working across London and the Home Counties.

The ideal candidate will have proven ability in painting, decorating and carpentry, with additional skills such as tiling, plastering, plumbing or electrics considered a strong advantage. You’ll be delivering high-quality work on a wide range of property maintenance and refurbishment projects – including insurance repairs (such as leaks, subsidence and fire claims), private client works and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Painting & decorating – full rooms, touch-ups, finishing and high-standard detailing.
• Carpentry – doors, skirting, flooring, framework, and worktop mitres.
• Kitchen and bathroom installations.
• Tiling – wall and floor tiling to a professional finish (desirable).
• Plastering – patch repairs and full rooms where required (desirable).
• Plumbing – 1st fix and 2nd fix (advantageous, not essential).
• Work professionally in both occupied and void properties.
• Provide daily progress updates, including photos, to the office manager.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in painting, decorating and carpentry.
• Additional skills in tiling, plastering, plumbing or electrics are advantageous.
• Full set of tools relevant to the above trades.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, regular updates.
• Professional, reliable and punctual – able to work independently or as part of a team.
