PredictX is an enterprise SaaS provider revolutionising critical decision-making for many of the world’s largest businesses, including three FAANGs, through integrative AI technology and Predictive Analytics. PredictX is engaging a specialist Global Project and Contracts Consultant to provide expert commercial and legal services. The Contractor will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of contract development, review, and negotiation to support the Company’s global Enterprise SaaS operations.

The role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong understanding of contract law, and the ability to negotiate effectively to safeguard the interests of the organisation while fostering positive business relationships. You will be instrumental in driving efficient and compliant contract lifecycle management, protecting PredictX's interests, and enabling our continued global growth.

  • Scope of Services and Deliverables
  • Process Optimisation: Contribute to the development and enhancement of CLM tools (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Icertis, Conga) and internal contracting workflows.
  • Lead Contract Lifecycle Management: Drive the end-to-end process for various critical agreements, including commercial agreements, service contracts, vendor and partnership agreements, from drafting and review through negotiation and execution ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while safeguarding PredictX's interests.
  • Contract Drafting & Review: Prepare, draft, and meticulously review a variety of contracts, including customer agreements, NDAs, events and supplier contracts, working as necessary with external counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Negotiation & Risk Mitigation: Develop and execute robust negotiation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes, proactively identifying potential risks and proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Cross Functionality, Collaboration & Compliance: Partner closely with internal stakeholders to define contractual needs, ensure compliance with legal guidelines and organisational policies, and facilitate seamless contract execution.
  • Contract Performance & Dispute Resolution: Monitor contract performance and compliance, resolving any contractual disputes efficiently to maintain strong relationships and protect organisational interests.
  • Documentation & Process Optimisation: Maintain a comprehensive and organised database of all contract-related documentation, continuously updating contract templates and contributing to best practices for contract management.
  • External Relationship Management: Serve as a primary liaison with external parties, including vendors, clients, and partners, fostering positive relationships throughout the contracting process.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with founders, sales, customer success, finance, infosec, data privacy, and other internal teams to ensure seamless contract execution and adherence to revenue recognition policies.
  • Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
  • Best Practice and Legal Compliance: Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, legal developments, and data privacy/security regulations relevant to global SaaS contracts.

Contractor Expertise And Qualifications

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration or Contract Management, and/or a certification in contract management (e.g., CCCM), are also highly valued.
  • SaaS Industry and Contracts Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in contract management and negotiation within the SaaS industry with strong legal knowledge and proven experience in confidently managing SaaS contracts, demonstrating a clear ability to handle the unique complexities of Software-as-a-Service agreements.
  • Management & Organisation: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Contract Management Expertise: Possess extensive experience in a similar role within the SaaS industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to closeout.
  • Legal Acumen: Apply an in-depth knowledge of contract law and the legal implications of contract terms. You should be able to analyse and interpret complex contractual language with ease, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
