About White Swan Data

Technology is at the heart of our business and has produced consistent and significant results. We are a small but rapidly growing team of mathematicians, data scientists and software engineers constantly striving to refine our world class statistical models while also researching and deploying new ones. Our work bridges three domains, each challenging in its own right - iGaming, quantitative research and software development. This convergence demands a rare blend of skills and creativity to identify and capitalise on inefficiencies across the iGaming landscape. The opportunities are vast, but we are only as good as the people we bring on board.

As a startup, we offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where you’ll work on impactful projects and have the autonomy to explore new ideas. In-person collaboration and innovation are at the heart of what we do, and we are always looking for individuals who can contribute their unique perspectives and talents to help us stay ahead in a constantly evolving industry.

About the Role

Markets never sleep and at White Swan Data we analyse markets 24/7, 365 days a year. As we continue to expand our execution capability across exchange platforms and prediction markets, we are hiring for multiple roles within our trading team, spanning both entry-level and experienced profiles. We are looking for high-energy, curious individuals with an interest in betting markets and data-driven decision making. Prior trading or betting market experience is a strong advantage, particularly for more senior positions. However, we also welcome applications from high-potential candidates at an earlier stage in their career who demonstrate strong analytical thinking, commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.

These roles sit within our in-house trading team. Successful applicants will contribute to live market execution, performance monitoring and process development. Availability for day, evening and weekend shifts is required, with a particular focus on the US sporting schedule. We are an ambitious company, meaning there is considerable opportunity for you to make a niche for yourself and to progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate the trading systems to maximise volume of trades while consistently hitting target performance metrics.
  • Monitor live markets and trading activity, identifying patterns, inefficiencies and emerging opportunities to support strategy development and optimisation.
  • Provide practical, real-time feedback to developers and quants to improve trading models, execution logic and system performance.
  • Work closely with the operational support team to streamline and optimise the end-to-end trading pipeline.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve practical problems quickly to minimise trading downtime and risk.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1+ year of experience as a sports trader.
  • BSc in Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline (e.g. Physics, Economics, Engineering) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns and draw practical conclusions.
  • Strong work ethic with a genuine desire to succeed in a results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to execute instructions precisely while clearly communicating technical issues or observations.
  • Comfortable balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, managing time effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends, early mornings and late nights, aligned with global sporting schedules.
  • A good understanding of betting markets, exchanges or prediction markets is highly beneficial.
  • Proactive mindset with a natural curiosity to question, refine and improve processes.

Benefits

  • Salary depending on experience.
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus.
