CMM Inspector/Programmer

Requirements:

• Experience of programming and operating Mitutoyo/PC-Dmis/OGP CMM.
• Excellent understanding of drawings, dimensions, and tolerancing.
• A minimum of two years experience in programming complex geometry.
• Must be able to work on your own initiative in a busy engineering environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience of working in the Aerospace industry would be an advantage but not essential.
• Health, Safety, and Environment compliance.

The Role:

• Responsible for the setup and completion of work carried out on the CMM & Multi-Sensor CMM.
• Use inspection tools such as shadow graphs, vernier calipers, and micrometers.
• Carry out manual and visual inspection of components to customer requirements.
• Using MCOSMOS, PC-Dmis & OGP software, you will be required to program these machines, set the datums, and conduct the inspection while compiling all relevant documentation such as First Article Inspection Reports.
