The successful candidate will coordinate works from initial mobilisation through to completion, working closely with the Contracts and Commercial teams to ensure day‑to‑day site operations are managed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead and oversee all on‑site operations to meet project deadlines and budgets
- Supervise teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency
- Support planning activities and contribute to programme updates and reporting
- Maintain site records, order plant/materials, and manage logistics
- Promote and maintain a strong site safety culture, including risk assessments and incident reviews
- Ensure regulatory and procedural compliance across all operations
- Support commercial goals by tracking productivity, identifying risks, and driving cost‑effective solutions
- This Site Manager position is well suited to an accomplished civil engineering professional with the capability to take ownership of site operations, lead project teams, and ensure civils and infrastructure works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Background in any of the following: highways, utilities, piling, groundworks, stonework restoration, or wastewater projects
- Proven experience managing infrastructure or civils‑based projects
- Strong understanding of site safety, quality control, and programme managementA confident communicator, capable of leading teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Self‑motivated with a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach
- Salary up to £60,000 + Car allowance + Excellent benefits
- Working 07:30 - 16:30 & Early finish Fridays
