Precision Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Civils Working Foreman / Supervisor to work on a new build construction project in Manchester. You will be responsible for managing a small external groundworks package around the new building, which will include kerbing, edging and block paving. This is a hands-on Working Foreman position. You will be supervising two gangs of Groundworkers, managing the day-to-day works and ensuring the package progresses to programme, while also mucking in with the lads and carrying out groundworks yourself when required. Working alongside the Groundworkers and carrying out hands-on duties when required.
Duties
- Managing a small external groundworks package
- Supervising and managing two gangs of Groundworkers
- Overseeing kerbing, edging and block paving works around the building
- Organising daily workloads and ensuring works are completed to programme
- Monitoring the quality and progress of works
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed on site
- Liaising with site management and other trades
- Working alongside the Groundworkers and carrying out hands-on duties when required
About You
- Previous experience as a Civils / Groundworks Working Foreman or Supervisor
- Strong Civils and Groundworks experience
- Experience with kerbing, edging and block paving
- Previous experience supervising GroundworkersSSSTS or SMSTS
- First Aid
- Valid CSCS Card
- Happy to work hands-on alongside the Groundworkers when required
- Reliable and capable of managing a small team effectively
