Are you an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Machine Operator, or CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator looking to join a precision engineering company offering a four-day working week and regular overtime?
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC professional to join our clients growing manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with large, high-value components using advanced CNC machinery in a modern precision engineering environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating a large universal bed-type milling machine with a 4.5-metre table using Heidenhain i TNC 530 controls.
Working from engineering drawings, you'll produce high-quality precision-machined components while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate a large CNC bed-type milling machine.
- Machine precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Use Heidenhain i TNC 530 controls.
- Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes.
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.
