Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking to join a well-established precision engineering company with an excellent reputation for quality and craftsmanship?
We're recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a busy machine shop in Birmingham producing high-precision components for a variety of engineering sectors.

The Role
As a CNC Miller, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to customer specifications.
You'll work from engineering drawings, ensuring all parts meet the highest quality standards while maintaining efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme, set and operate CNC Miller machines.
- Manufacture precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Select tooling and adjust machine settings to optimise production.
- Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Measure finished components using verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work safely in line with company Health & Safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Machinist or Programmer/Setter/Operator.
- Experience programming and setting CNC lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens or Haas controls.
