Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group, Inc., is currently seeking a Certificate Management Platform Administrator to join a client in Birmingham, Alabama. This hybrid position will require someone to work onsite one (1) day each week at our client’s Birmingham location. This role offers a salary range from $95K to $125K, which indicates our client will consider candidates with various levels of experience. In addition to the competitive salary range, this position will offer Paid Time Off and assistance towards healthcare premiums. This opportunity requires an individual that is an American Citizen or that possesses a Green Card. We will not be engaging in Corp-to-Corp Agreements nor will we be considering any 3rd Party Candidates.
Position Summary: This person will own and manage our client’s digital certificates throughout their organization, start-to-finish. He/she will ensure certificates are properly obtained, issued and renewed, while also ensuring proper validation and integration throughout our client’s enterprise, supporting security, compliance and operational continuity across all business units. This position has become essential as the life cycle of certificates is shifting towards shorter validity periods and increased automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support our client’s Certificate Management Platform to include installation, configuration, patching and upgrading with the ability to troubleshoot automation issues and failures.
- Continuous monitoring of certifications to alleviate outages and security risks, while also ensuring middleware platforms continue to integrate properly with the certification process.
Requirements:
- Full comprehension and functional mastery of the Digital Certification process in an enterprise environment.
- Recent, relevant experience administering a Certificate Management Platform e.g., DigiCert, Venafi, AppViewX.
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (once every 2/3 months).
