About the role:
The role as a TIG welder and fabricator is to consistently produce high quality welded products from CAD drawings or through batch production, as well as being able to competently use saws and hand power tools.
Duties of a TIG Welder will include:
· Being able to competently TIG weld aluminium from 1.5mm to 6mm, experience essential.
· Ability to read and produce work from a CAD drawing, essential.
· Ability to use a foot pedal, ideal.
· Use of saws to cut and fabricate work, previous use ideal.
· Good level of self QC ensuring all products are welded to the highest standard.
· Changing of gas bottles and torch accessories.
About the TIG Welder
· This TIG welder will work well on their own and as part of a team.
· Good communication skills
· He/she will need to be well driven
· The appropriate person must have a keen eye for detail
· They must have pride in their work and maintain a tidy safe workspace
· Must be reliable
