Paint line Powder Coater/Production Operative required

Based in Leicester LE3

Full time/Permanent

Basic Salary up to £16.20 per hour

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Afternoon shift: 1515 – 0115

Overtime paid at a premium

About the role:

This role is part of the paint line team but will be slightly separate from the rest of the team. The primary responsibility is ensuring all PPC coverage is to the highest standard using automated and manual paint guns. There is some manufacturing involved, so willingness to work on production machines is required.

Powder Coater/Paintline Operative duties include:

  1. Using a hand gun to cover any unpainted/touch-up products.
  2. Recording powder usage.
  3. Prepping powder drums for use.
  4. Cleaning used powder drums.
  5. Cleaning the spray booth, pipes, and hoppers.

Requirements for the successful candidate:

  1. Hardworking and punctual.
  2. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  3. Experience in the powder coating industry.
  4. Quick-thinking with excellent reading skills.
