Job Title – Trainee Business Development manager Sector – Fire & Security Salary – £28,000 – 45,000 PA + Car + Bonus Location – Rochdale Start Date – Jan 2025 The Company A market leading Fire and security business is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is due to their continual success and growth within the North West. The Role This role would be ideal for an individual who is a confident communicator that enjoys meeting new people and can build strong, long-term relationships in an ever-changing environment, whilst having fun along the way. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research. * Develop and maintain relationships with clients to enhance business partnerships. * Work to the effective business development strategies that align with our company goals. * Prepare and deliver quotations and information to potential clients, showcasing our products and services. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction. Training They will offer training to the successful applicant. This will be both in-house and manufacturer training programs. This will be on product, design and understanding of their clients requirements. The training will be over a period of up to Two years. Dependent on the knowledge of the applicant. About You The ideal candidate will have some experience in business development, with a will to learn to identify new opportunities and build relationships with potential clients. You will be required to follow a strategic plan that has proven and made our organisation a success. * Some experience in business development or sales management, preferably within a related industry. * Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. * Proficient in using CRM software for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships. * A proactive approach to problem-solving. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
