Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine required steel reinforcement.
- Work to timelines and programme requirements.
- Perform general steel-fixing duties, including 12-m cuts.
- Measure, cut, and bend steel bars using power tools and machinery.
- Install and secure steel reinforcement according to specifications.
- Ensure alignment, spacing, and positioning of steel bars.
Qualifications
- National Grid Person (Essential)
- CSCS Card or Certificate (Essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to read drawings and plans
- Enthusiastic and able to use initiative whilst working unsupervised
- Good physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
- Working references ideally from previous similar work
