Our client, a reputable North West based housing developer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support delivery on a high-quality new build housing scheme in the Leyland area of Preston.
The Role:
- Support the Site Manager in day-to-day operations
- Conduct plot inspections at various build stages
- Produce and manage snagging/defects lists
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Liaise with the Customer Care team to coordinate inspections of completed plots
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and NHBC inspectors
- Ensure work is delivered to NHBC and company standards
About You:
- Prior experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build residential housing
- Strong knowledge of snagging, finishing, and plot handover processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- SMSTS or SSSTS (Health & Safety qualification)
- Valid CSCS Supervisor Card
- First Aid at Work certificate
