Due to an increase in workload, our client is looking for experienced Groundworkers on a temporary to permanent basis. 13 Weeks Working Temp then you will be offered a permanent contract Self Employed or Employed. It is essential you are happy to work away, and you must have concreting experience.
Company & Role: You will be working within a 3-4 Man gang working on a busy construction site, mainly reinstatement works on concrete service yards and large industrial units. If you also want to further your career, we will support you with that and pay for additional tickets and training to Supervisor and Site Manager level.
- Breaking out old Concrete.
- Cutting and installing steel.
- Pouring and screeding concrete.
- Ducting/Drainage/Kerbing/Flagging.
- Use of CAT scan and working around live services.
- Using a laser level.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate plant, hand power tools as needed.
- Steel fixing/shuttering joinery works not essential but would help.
- Other associated duties.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of sites.
- Adhering to Health & Safety.
Rewards:
- North West Work - £180 Day Shift + £20ph after 16:30
- Nationwide Work - £200 Day + Digs paid for + Food
- 07.30 - 16.30 - Hours may slightly differ depending on project
- Weekend work potentially available
- Future funding training & plant tickets
- Will go perm after 13 weeks with PRG
About you:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- CPCS or NPORS Dumper & Roller – Essential
- CPCS or NPORS Dumper & Roller – Desirable
- 50/50 Working at home and away in digs.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Previous experience carrying out the above duties.
- Enthusiastic and MUST be able to use initiative when unsupervised.
- Working references from a similar job.
