Join our team at Precision Proco
We are looking for a talented and motivated Studio / Pre-Press Operator to join our busy production hub in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in pre-press and studio work who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
As part of our innovative team, you will be working with the latest technology to deliver exceptional print for some of the UK’s biggest brands – across Litho, Digital, and Large Format platforms, as well as personalised print.
What you will do
- Prepare, check, and optimise files for Litho, Digital, and Large Format printing.
- Create artwork from initial brief through to final print-ready files.
- Work on personalised print campaigns using software such as GMC Inspire and HP SmartStream Designer.
- Use and maintain key workflows including Agfa Apogee Pre-press, Fuji XMF, and HP Indigo front ends.
- Perform high-quality PDF editing and pre-flight checks using Enfocus PitStop.
- Support and develop automated workflows through Enfocus Switch.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the studio, production, and account teams to ensure all jobs are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Proficient in the latest Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
- Experienced across a range of Studio and Pre-press processes for print production.
- Meticulous and detail-driven, with a strong understanding of colour, print specifications, and production requirements.
- A confident problem-solver who can work under pressure and to deadlines.
- A team player with a “can-do, will-do” attitude, willing to support colleagues and adapt as needed.
- Based in or able to commute to our Sheffield office – this is an on-site role.
