Precision Placements are currently recruiting for an experienced and organised Building Control Administrator to join a busy and expanding Building Control team based within the London area. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working within a fast-paced professional environment and is looking to become part of a supportive and highly respected organisation operating within the Building Control sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Building Inspectors, surveyors, and management teams with the day-to-day administration of projects across residential and commercial developments. The position offers a varied workload and would suit someone who is highly organised, confident communicating with clients, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The company is involved in a wide range of Building Control projects throughout London and the South East and has built a strong reputation for professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service. Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, they are now looking to strengthen their administrative support team.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing administrative support to Building Control surveyors and management
- Processing applications and maintaining project records
- Managing incoming calls and email enquiries from clients and contractors
- Scheduling inspections and coordinating diaries
- Uploading and managing documentation on internal systems
- Assisting with reporting, compliance documentation, and general office administration
- Liaising with Local Authorities, contractors, architects, and developers where required
- Previous administration experience, ideally within Building Control, construction, property, or a technical environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Experience using Building Control software systems would be advantageous but not essential
