Fully skilled Fabricator with the ability to MIG and TIG Weld.

Permanent Opportunity paying up to £20.00 p/h.

Permanent role based in Warwick, commutable from Kenilworth, Long Itchington, Wellsbourne, Stratford upon Avon, and surrounding areas.

Our client is looking for an experienced Fabricator with MIG & TIG welding experience to join their expanding team. Interviewing immediately.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: Start time 07.30, Finish time 16.00
  • Friday: Start time 07.00, Finish time 12.00

Overtime paid at a premium.

JOB PURPOSE

  • To report to the Fabrication Supervisor.
  • To carry out fabrication work as well as TIG weld stainless steel 1mm - 6mm.
  • To read all engineering drawings.
  • To help and advise less experienced workers on the shop floor.

The Fabricator / Welder CANDIDATE:

  • Fully Skilled Fabricator.
  • Ability to TIG weld stainless steel 1mm - 6mm.
  • Ability to TIG weld 12mm - 15mm would be an advantage.
  • Ability to MIG weld.
  • Experienced in TIG welding aluminium would be an advantage.
  • Highly skilled apprentice-trained fabricator who can read engineering drawings, cope with varied jobs and materials.
  • More than 7 years industry experience welding and fabricating stainless steel.
  • Experienced in bespoke one-off welding / fabrication.
  • Create cutting lists from manufacturers' drawings.
  • Experience in Purge Welding Process.
  • Candidate should be able to work on their own initiative.
  • A driving license would be advantageous.
  • Ability to share knowledge with others on the shop floor.
