Stores Operative LE8 Day shifts Driving license Position Overview: The role involves managing the flow of goods — from receiving deliveries through to preparing and dispatching orders — while maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring all warehouse/stores operations run smoothly and safely. Main Duties & Responsibilities Goods Handling: Accept and verify incoming deliveries, checking quantities and quality before accurately logging them in the company’s ERP or stock system. Stock Management: Organise and store materials in the correct locations to maintain order and accessibility across the warehouse. Order Preparation: Pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery deadlines. Inventory Control: Keep all stock information up to date, assist with regular cycle counts, and support periodic inventory audits. Equipment Operation: Use warehouse machinery such as pallet trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently (training available if required).
