Manual Machinist 35-hour working week Sheffield S3 Up to £36k per annum Flexible Hours, 33 Days Holiday, Pension My client is an established engineering manufacturing firm, based in Sheffield, Yorkshire. They are currently seeking a skilled Manual Milling Machinist to join their existing team. The Role - Manual Milling Machinist - Working independently to produce components from drawings - Using a variety of engineering techniques, including Manual Milling and CNC Milling (if experienced) - Choosing materials and tooling, then producing the required part - Quality checking components, using various measurement tools and techniques - Other duties may arise - an open mindset is essential - 35 hours per week - Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, Flexible hours between 8.00am and 4.00pm Experience Required - Manual Miller - Experience in Manual Milling - CNC Milling experience is desirable but not essential - Basic Sheet Metal Fabrication & Assembly - Small company experience / Must be adaptable - Manual Lathe - not essential - Siemens controls - not essential - Must be able to work from drawings and be self-sufficient - Work is in small batches and quite varied - Ability to work directly from CAD drawings - Quality checking and inspection experience - Able to choose own materials and tooling - Happy working with minimal supervision - Must be able to commute to the Sheffield S3 postcode area The Package - Manual Machinist - Up to £36k per annum - Clean, relaxed work environment - 35 hours per week - Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, Flexible hours between 8.00am and 4.00pm - Free onsite parking - Pension - 33 Days Holiday Interested?
