If yes, read onโ€ฆ My client is one of the world\’s leading forensic consultancies, with multiple offices around the UK. They are currently looking for a skilled Road Traffic Collision Investigator to join their growing forensic RTC team. The Role: Youโ€™ll examine the scenes & vehicles involved, ensuring all evidence is recorded, often requiring sophisticated mapping and photographic equipment. Ensuring meticulous collection, preservation, and interpretation of evidence, including vehicle defects and telematic data, to accurately report on collision circumstances. Youโ€™ll produce reconstruction reports explaining how events unfolded. Identify the need for additional resources or specialist knowledge to aid forensic examination or reconstruction. Present your findings in court as a qualified expert. Minimum Skills / Experience Required: You need to speak clearly, confidently, and explain technical information backed up with comprehensive and unbiased reports. Effective communication skills for internal and external interactions, including meetings, calls, and emails. Ideally, you will: Hold a good honours degree in engineering or science. Be progressing towards Chartered status at a minimum. Possess a higher degree (e.g., MSc or PhD) – desirable. Be capable of completing physical site work. Have clear communication skills in conveying technical concepts. Be willing to work flexible hours as needed. Have several years of postgraduate experience.
