Are you a Maintenance Manager who loves being close to the plant, leading from the front and making things run better every week? We are recruiting for a senior maintenance leader to take ownership of a busy, continuous processing site with a strong mechanical focus and a large, experienced engineering team. This is not a desk-only role. You will be visible on the plant, solving problems, improving reliability and building a team culture where safety, standards and uptime come first.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team covering mechanical and electrical
  • Owning all planned and reactive maintenance across the site
  • Driving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement
  • Managing shutdowns, overhauls and improvement projects
  • Using a CMMS to plan work, track KPIs and raise standards
  • Making sure safety, housekeeping and compliance are non-negotiable
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing your engineers and supervisors
  • Working closely with operations to minimise downtime and improve performance
  • Managing contractors, spares and maintenance budgets

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager in a process environment
  • Strong mechanical background with good electrical understanding
  • Experience with a range of plant, conveyors, mobile plant etc
  • A hands-on leader who earns respect on the shop floor
  • Comfortable using CMMS and data to drive decisions
  • IOSH or similar safety qualification
  • Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4 or above in engineering
  • Someone who enjoys improving standards, systems and people
