APPOINTED PERSON - CPCS A61 Location: Loughborough, LE11 Pay: £25.00 per hour, depending on experience Contract: 3 months Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm | Friday 7:30am-12:30pm Start: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Appointed Person (CPCS A61) to join a busy Engineering Company based in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of lifting operations, ensuring all lifts are properly assessed, planned and carried out safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance. Key Responsibilities: Planning and coordinating lifting operations Assessing site conditions and lifting requirements Selecting suitable cranes and lifting accessories Calculating load weights, crane capacities and working radii Producing detailed lift plans, RAMS and associated documentation Ensuring lifting operations comply with LOLER and relevant safety requirements Briefing the Lifting Supervisor and lifting team Reviewing and revising lift plans where site conditions change Working closely with site management and lifting personnel Requirements: Valid CPCS A61 Appointed Person qualification Previous experience planning lifting operations Strong understanding of crane operations and lifting equipment Knowledge of LOLER and lifting safety requirements Ability to produce accurate lift plans and RAMS Strong communication and organisational skills Relevant construction/site experience This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CPCS A61 Appointed Person looking for a 3-month contract with an immediate start.
