We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer on behalf of a leading organisation within the lift industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working on a varied portfolio of lift equipment.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of lifts while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across your assigned portfolio, ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and reliable.
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs.
  • Aim to achieve first-time fixes to minimise downtime and disruption.
  • Undertake minor repairs to maintain ongoing operation and prevent escalation.
  • Accurately use field management systems to record work in real time and ensure job completion.
  • Identify and report additional repair, upgrade, or modernisation opportunities.
  • Support neighbouring areas where required.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours emergency support.
  • Deliver excellent on-site customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable manner.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times.
About YouEssential Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Service, Maintenance, or Repair.
  • Solid experience as a Service or Callout Engineer.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Good understanding of industry health and safety regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
