The Role - Junior Sales Administrator

  • Handle incoming calls from customers and enquiries via telephone and email in a professional manner.
  • Manage all enquiries and quotations in the company's systems to ensure all sales data is logged accurately.
  • Prepare, process and issue quotations accurately and promptly, ensuring customers are informed of timelines or any potential delays.
  • Use initiative to contact customers to follow up orders, quotes and outstanding purchase orders.
  • Provide general administrative support within the branch as and when required.
  • Support the Internal Sales Manager in generating and following up on quotes, purchase orders and customer communications.
  • Ability to prioritise administrative tasks and duties related to sales to ensure timely completion.
  • Take on any other responsibilities delegated to you by the company to support the business needs and objectives.
  • Create and manage job records, making sure all documentation and purchase orders are correctly processed.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Junior Sales Administrator

  • Experience in an administrative role or sales support role (ideally within a commercial or business development environment).
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Calm and efficient when working under pressure.
  • Able to commute to the LE4 area
