The Role - Junior Sales Administrator
- Handle incoming calls from customers and enquiries via telephone and email in a professional manner.
- Manage all enquiries and quotations in the company's systems to ensure all sales data is logged accurately.
- Prepare, process and issue quotations accurately and promptly, ensuring customers are informed of timelines or any potential delays.
- Use initiative to contact customers to follow up orders, quotes and outstanding purchase orders.
- Provide general administrative support within the branch as and when required.
- Support the Internal Sales Manager in generating and following up on quotes, purchase orders and customer communications.
- Ability to prioritise administrative tasks and duties related to sales to ensure timely completion.
- Take on any other responsibilities delegated to you by the company to support the business needs and objectives.
- Create and manage job records, making sure all documentation and purchase orders are correctly processed.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Junior Sales Administrator
- Experience in an administrative role or sales support role (ideally within a commercial or business development environment).
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
- Calm and efficient when working under pressure.
- Able to commute to the LE4 area
