Our client is seeking an experienced Smoke Curtain Fitter to carry out fire protection works in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of Smoke and Fire Curtains. This role involves the installation of fire and smoke curtain systems across a varied range of environments, predominantly within office buildings, as well as retail, industrial and residential properties. Projects range from small doorway curtain installations through to large, complex systems designed to enclose escalators and open areas. The work is largely mechanical in nature and regularly requires working at height. This role will include travelling into Central London for installation projects on a daily basis.

Candidate Requirements - Fire Curtain Fitter:

  • Previous experience installing fire curtains, roller shutter doors, garage doors or similar.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Happy to work in pairs on a daily basis
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Able to manage own workload and supervise a labourer
  • Reliable, mature, and attendance-focused
  • CSCS card required
  • NVQ – desirable but not essential
  • IPAF & PASMA (desirable)

Salary and Package - Fire Curtain Fitter:

  • Basic Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (experience dependent)
  • Monday-Friday 40 hours 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm
  • Company Pension Scheme & Holiday Scheme
  • Private Health Insurance
  • Company electric van provided & Home charger installed
  • Overtime in Evenings x1.5
  • Occasional Saturdays

Training provided: Manual handling, Asbestos awareness, Silica dust awareness, First aid
